Sleeping
The South Dartmoor Bunkhouse sleeps 16 people in solid wooden bunk beds, with hospital style mattresses. There are two dorms, one sleeping twelve and the other sleeping four (both are mixed sex). The dorm area has been fully refurbished, and offers clean, carpeted, warm accommodation.
Please Note: Bedding is not included, you must bring your own bedding/sleeping bags.

Living & Cooking
Downstairs, the bunkhouse comprises a main room, which is an open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The room has two large tables with plenty of seating and is heated.
The kitchen area has two electric hobs (each with four rings). Please be aware that there is no oven or grill, but there are two microwaves, toasters and kettles. All pots, pans, cups, plates, cutlery and utensils are provided. There is also a fridge and a sink with running hot water.
Hallway & Wash Area
In the centre of the building is a washing area with a toilet, wash basin and two showers.
Narrow stairs leading to upper floor.
There is a second toilet upstairs between the two bunk rooms.

Storage
There is also a storage area which will take about eight mountain bikes or eight small kayaks, providing secure storage for valuable items. Alternatively, it can be used as a cavers’ changing area. This space also functions as a drying room with a suspended hanging rack. The heater and industrial dehumidifier in the drying room are run via a coin-operated meter which takes £1 coins.

Outside & Parking
The road immediately outside the bunkhouse suffers from very limited parking, however there is ample parking elsewhere, usually at the top of Crest Hill, or in the nearby car park (see map).
Please Note: The bunkhouse is located in a residential area, so please be considerate of our neighbours, keeping noise to a minimum at all times.
